How to Train your Voice for Inspiration

Imagine that somebody is truly inspired by you and finds everything you say wonderfully interesting. Feels good, right? In fact, your interest is one of the most important gifts you can give to your students.

It means something to the child, when I am truly inspired by their findings. My interest encourages my students to keep going in their discovery and also to continue to connect with me as the teacher.

Try this:
1. Be aware of how you use your voice, when you talk about something or someone that truly moves you.
2. Now transfer the same emotion to mundane replacement words, to subjects that your students feel excited about. Practice talking about those with the same emotion of ‘feeling inspired’
3. Match not only your tone of voice but also your body language to the emotion.
