Guy is passionate about working with children and youth and he has a very special connection with children. Guy’s openness and careful listening to each individual child, and very clear boundaries for everyone in the class, make the play time so special.

Children laugh themselves silly, concentrate deeply on their tasks, dive into the activities, and expand their attention spans.

Guy’s experience as a massage therapist and his thorough knowledge of how the body works, help him design games and activities that challenge the body in a healthy way. Guy explains clearly how children can improve their movement skills and watches for habits or motions that could cause injury or strain.

With a decade of youth work experience on the island, and plenty of prior work experience in the field Guy knows his stuff. At the same time, every session he leads turns out different, magical, and fresh.

Guy has taught at many Bainbridge Island schools including the Madrona School, Wilkes Elementary School, and Blakely Elementary. He also teaches at Bainbridge Ballet, the Kids Discovery Museum, and at Bainbridge Performing Arts.
